Tested positive for ureaplasma

Hi all. In the last 12 months I have had BV 4 times, and thrush a couple of times. Each time I take the recommended treatment and it clears up, but always comes back. I’m now on my 4th bout of BV and it burns when I pee, which I haven’t experienced before outside of full blown UTIs in the past.

I took a private microbiome test recently which has detected Ureaplasma. I suspect my ex gave it to me early last year - I discovered he’d cheated on me twice.

I feel relieved that I finally know what is causing all my infections and discomfort but the road to recovery feels really daunting. I’m in the UK and don’t think the NHS take ureaplasma very seriously so I may order doxycycline online privately. Does anyone have any probiotic recommendations while I go down this route or any words of wisdom/hope? I’m really scared that because it’s been a year I’ve caused myself unreversible damage to my fertility, pelvic floor etc. thank you
