This anime did that thing in 2 seasons that took tensura 3 seasons and a bunch of fillers to finish😅 (it's a joke please don't get offended)

Genre:- action, thriller, suspense, comedy

Okay jokes aside overall I finally watched something different in the Isekai genre which generally carried so many funny things without adding unnecessary stuff to it which didn't make me uncomfortable and make me think like where this came from out of nowhere am i watching the same show? Nope the comedy in it was so good! The comic timing was on point!

I like that this story has horror, suspense, big world building, large scale action scenes and the way they showed us is so much good like without aura farming or over exaggerating any characters but still that scene holds it's own heaviness, i didn't expect that coz every Isekai anime did use this formula to showcase their over powerful character but this series didn't do that!

So if you like comedy with action and thriller without unnecessary fan service then do watch it!✌️

Overall if you have to watch something new or i say refresh then watch this, this anime is an underrated gem in the iseka genre🤌

So if you're looking for a story that has the same kind of love story just like naofumi and raphtalia had but with better writing then i swear you'll love this series!

I kinda finished this series way before i started watching the shield hero anime and no this story doesn't follow the same path as the shield hero (coz i don't want you to think that it's just a rip off of naofumi and raphtalia's story, which it isn't)

Fun fact:- (this series shares the same universe as freiren😳)

Bonus fact:- there's a famous wholesome romance anime that just ripped off this series character and situation in it (i would address that later✌️)

So the name of the series is "Uchi no Musume no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai" (If It's for My Daughter, I'd Even Defeat a Demon Lord) and no it doesn't have any lewd or make you uncomfortable scenes at all I swear! (Released in 2015 and ended in 2019 with total 9 vol)

Story synopsis:-

This story is about an adventurer dale (17 years) who stays away from his home to fulfill his clan's duty and he's living a miserable and dreadful life like even if he dies today in anyways he's not gonna regret😿 and one day when he's doing a adventure quest in a forest he met a demon girl named latina (8 years) her one horn was torn apart (which means she was a criminal as demon tribe rules), her clothes were dirty and she looked so weak to harm anyone so dale understand that something bad happened with her and after he approaches her he gets to know that his father died in the process of saving her so after giving his father a proper funeral he ask her that she wants to come with him? (Coz in this world humans and demons have beef between them so just think if he leaves her there what's gonna happen with her) And after that the real story starts yes this was just episode one's starting summary!

Relationship:- (no this series doesn't have unnecessary love triangles or situationship at all)

This series is just a peak example of how to write an Isekai age gap romance without adding unnecessary things!

It wasn't dale who wanted this relationship in the first place it was latina, when dale saved her and they started living together she developed feelings for him (this has deep meaning in the series you'll get it when you read the novels) he never laid a hand on her in any creepy way he was the kindest person for her!

And also the author just showed us very beautifully that it was so painful for her to see that dale didn't understand her feelings coz she knows they have that age gap between them but is it wrong that she wants a different relationship with him🥺 (and no she didn't confess her feelings not until she get matured enough, as i said this series is just so wholesome)

at some point their relationship gave me eren and mikasa vibe (from attack on titan) coz >!eren would die early coz of the titan power but mikasa have to live alone after that!< and why I'm addressing that coz latina is a demon who lives more than humans do and humans have little life spawn in comparison of demon so now do you understand latina shares the same fate like mikasa which makes this story more sad😢

And if you're still thinking how could MC fall in love with her coz if they spend so much time with each other then again just read the novels they took plenty of time between that part and their relationship started changing little by little after that, that part was so wholesome on another level🥰

Just put the title name aside coz it doesn't have to do anything with the story and watch season 1 of the anime, just keep this in mind what information I gave you and i swear this series will be your next fav! (Coz it became my fav one even after I knew about their relationship)

And then start reading the light novels which have only 9 vol and every light novel is under 200 chapters so you'll finish it very quickly coz i finished it in 1 week!

Let's talk about good things first:-

So the only good thing i found about it is that the pacing of it, it was better than the other volumes!!

Atla's death🥺:- (I'm not saying it was a good thing but the writing was peak at this point)

I literally cried when the only good and pure hearted character of the series died and I was hoping that after that naofumi will never make blind eye on other girls feelings but what we get is a funny moment like he tries to lay with anyone who has feelings for him (i know they probably mocking diddy tensei's that trashy scene) I'm not saying it was bad and I'm glad sadeena put hold on that when naofumi tries to undress her and his own self and told him that yes it's fine to do that but not when his own mind is not clear at all it would hurt raphtalia's feelings (it was peak writing i would say even when he didn't married to raphtalia and even sadeena had strong feelings for him she didn't do anything with him even though raphtalia knew everything🥰)

What made me really frustrated is what happened after this😞

Naofumi's relationship:-

naofumi's relationship didn't develop with raphtalia or with anyone at all yes we had 7 vol after that and the only development we saw was that naofumi hugged her only one time😑, pat her head and her tail only one time (coz she got frustrated after that and thought he's pating her as the replacement of raph chan)😮‍💨 and yeah he gave her a bracelet but that moment also ruined by the author😭

The problem with two authors writing:-

Well some of you gonna think that what this means? then let me explain, when you experience some differences between writing and you feel like two different people wrote this one thing and that's what you call the problem with two authors writing!

I felt so many differences between other heroes scenes and naofumi scenes so much, like they treated naofumi's character so badly and sympathies with other heroes on another level🤦

Why? So i noticed whenever naofumi get's badly injured raphtalia don't give a fuck (she yelled naofumi like she care but the moment the whole scene ends she or anyone doesn't asked or care for him at all or tell him like don't overdue or overwork) on the other hand when naofumi go to other world and ren overwork through taking care of naofumi's work raphtalia said i sympathies with him, he pushed his self so much (at this point i was thinking which side are you on girl) and that's when I noticed the error in the writing like I was reading two different authors here, in every scene people get sympathies with other heroes but on the same page everyone making fun of naofumi and insulting him just for some jokes😑

I'm not joking here about the writing there's a scene where momoru (past shield hero) nearly killed naofumi and at that moment raphtalia cried out his name but just think what she did after that she gave a lecture that naofumi should talk with momoru with some respect coz he bad mouthed to a guy who was going to kill him a moment ago and she didn't even talk like how dare you do this to naofumi or didn't even sympathies with naofumi at all after that moment😭 (i was like wtf was that i missed atla's character so much at this point)

THE FAST PACING, THE COINCIDENCES AND REPETITIVENESS ON ANOTHER LEVEL:-

THE FAST PACING:-

So yeah the pacing was so fast after the vol 14 coz we get to know who killed atla and also we get to know there's also a guy behind all this so I thought they're gonna show us who's that but no who killed atla it was takt who has levels above all of the other heroes and they killed him in same vol (it was so good I'm not gonna complain) but that's it after that they just repeat the whole thing again and again and again😟

THE COINCIDENCES & REPETITIVENESS:-

Again as i said after killing the takt when they go to the other world out of nowhere they get to know that itsuki is so good in playing any music instrument (note he never played any music instrument before in the series😑) why? coz the one guy they're gonna fight after takt was good with music🤦

At this point i thought it's fine it was just a one time coincidence but nope, after that you know what makes me really frustrated that out of fucking nowhere naofumi started liking to cook for everyone so before vol 15 whenever someone tell him to cook he get's frustrated coz he already got tired from all the work but now he likes to cook for everyone out on nowhere even when he was more tired than everyone you know why coz the next bad guy they fought was good at cooking weapon😑 (this changes just made me feel like look how they massacred my boy😭)

TEAM ROCKET🫡:-

Oh and there's also bitch, syne sister and other fake heroes who just came between the story to fight like team rocket (from pokemon)band lose against them again and again!🤦 Like bruh why are you even trying?

And also kizuna's character got more irritated! And rishia's character got less irritating by talking less😐

Last but not the least:-

I know why the author just stopped working on this series coz he made a big fucking mess that he doesn't even know how to clean it, when I started this series i felt okay it just have those evil waves but after that nope it has multiverse and now naofumi even solved the problems of past legendary shield hero😑 like wtf this series sounded like "one battle after another" but after vol 14 this series just sounded like one mess after another😮‍💨, even when character's doing whatever the fuck they want it doesn't gonna affect the future, what is this marvel cinematic universe?

At last i want to say even if the author comes back to finish this series it's gonna take 30 vol or more coz as i said it's a big pile mess💀

I was going to review it as 1 to 11 vol coz that way it would perfectly fit with all the 22 vol which came so far but i thought let's review it in comparison of anime coz that way i can perfectly explain what i felt off and what was different from the core stuffs, so let's go!

So, let's talk about the good things:-

In light novels we get to know more about all the characters like some of them are so pathetic and some of them are just too pure to be there in the story (ahm atla), we get to know more about other villages and their situation coz in anime they literally scraped like we will get it just by looking at it😑!

We get to know more about what other heroes powers have and they can't level up if they're fighting in the same place and also about different slaves which naofumi saved in the 3rd season (they scraped this in anime btw)

Let's talk about characteristics:-

Raphtalia:-

First of all raphtalia coz she was so different in light novels I'm not talking about season 1 they perfectly adapted her character in there but I'm talking about between season 2 to 4 coz if you've read the light novel then you know she barely sounded like she was cute she sounded so much irritating in light novels (i know some of you gonna hate me for this but it's true) i liked her character coz she was the only one who didn't acted cold towards naofumi but it was so different in light novels she sympathies even with those characters who didn't consider naofumi anything like ren, motoyasu and even itsuki🤦 like bruh they made naofumi life hell you can act a little cold towards them but nope😑, yeah she cares for him but it just vanished the moment she opens her mouth i read this dialogue so many times in novels (mr.naofumi are thinking something nasty or bad) and she even make weird faces when naofumi enjoys the torture of those who make him suffer and also she doesn't like it when naofumi praise her clothing (only of miko outfit i don't know as well😮‍💨)

Ren (eclair & wyndia):-

Second we get to know how other three heroes are so pathetic like they didn't even go through anything like naofumi and had everything but when they failed to do some they say it's naofumi fault yeah i know this part was available but in light novel we get to know like ren insulted eclair position as a knight and acted all mighty but fail miserably in front of her, so when they meet again and do all that sword fight like heart to heart talk like wtf🤦 and if they became lovers in future i swear this doesn't make any sense for me coz i remember naofumi say one bad word in front of eclair and she said that she didn't know that shield hero has this kind of pathetic mouth (i mean someone insult her position that's fine but someone is helping everyone said one bad word he's the worst😑) and also about wyndia's character i don't want to see her and ren getting a love shit i swear I mean he killed his father, naofumi freed him and now he started caring for her out of nowhere and when they get along? I don't want to see this ship i swear! (Like if they ended up together he'll get one girl through bad mouthing and one girl from killing his father💀)

Motoyasu:-

We get to know about motoyasu that he's kind of a molester in the series coz even when he knows that his party girls didn't go along with him he still grabs their asses like they belong to him and when they left his party after spirit tortoise shit he whine about why they don't want to come back to him and even molest filo and cry on her chest like wtf😭 (they cut down this part where naofumi didn't save filo it was so pathetic in light novels coz in anime naofumi cares for filo and saves her from him)

Itsuki & Rishia:-

We get to know more about itsuki (some of you gonna sympathize with him but not me sorry) i hated his character more than anime like he was the one who made suffer rishia after she joined his party like he didn't provide her proper food, didn't think her anything and even when she comes for his rescue he just punch her with force (it was so bad) i don't know why I feel bad for rishia and get's irritated by her character so much at same time coz in light novels when itsuki came to know she cares for him and started crying i didn't feel anything this was the worst ship as far as i know (yeah you'll like this ship but the way he treated her and she cares only for him and not for anyone not even for her family it was so bad)

Naofumi:-

His character was the same but a little more here and there like he enjoyed raphtalia getting tortured (like he was seeing bitch getting tortured💀) when he first time bought her as a slave but he do started care for her after he knows about her trauma and all some of the scenes are cut in the anime or i say showed as timelapse but we can't do anything about that so moving on naofumi literally hate harem and girls in novels so much like on another level they didn't go through this extent in anime but it was so bad like even when raphtalia, filo, sadina or even atla shows their true and natural affection towards him he think and say this kind of things like i want to puke, throw up, stay away from me, is she out of her mind?😑 And you not gonna believe me he gives love advice to ren like he should propose eclair or go along with wyndia yeah this is the same guy who hates other women who shows true feelings towards him but gives love advice to others😮‍💨 oh last but not the least he praise other heroes but not any girls who needed his affection🤦 his character got the worst writing treatment and I'll address that in my next review.

So, we have don't do anything major in the story and still getting the cake like ren & itsuki and molester motoyasu and hating girls & harem final boss naofumi🤗

I don't know why but In Isekai if the character is good and kind they show him dumb and didn't go along with girls but if the character is annoying af and molest other girls they treat him so good in every fucking way (correct me if I'm wrong)

Well you'll have different opinions about that and I respect that!

I don't know what's the problem with the people of this subreddit, when I made a review comparing light novels and anime they hated it😢, when I made an honest review for both seasons again they hated it😞

look I'm not an otaku or hardcore fans of anime at all I'm just a regular guy who just wants to express that what he felt after watching this anime🥺

i watched so many not only anime but movies, series and read the light novels as well so at this point i know how to review something, you can have different opinions about that and i respect that!

My thoughts on season 4:-

This season was good in pacing and storytelling I'm glad they didn't made this season with fast pacing like the previous two and also The animation quality improved a little bit in this season as well!!

We get to know more about the history of hakuko (about atla and fohl's past) and also about raphtalia's birth place!

Some parts were cut from this season as well but it wasn't adding anything important in the story so it's fine! And they added some parts on behalf of that which was a good thing!

And last but not the least they finally make a good use of naofumi's character coz the way they tone down his character in previous seasons it was so bad, glad to know they finally remember who's the main character of the show (just kidding, in here people can't even understand a joke and get serious so don't do that please it was a harmless joke🙏)

Overall i finally watched a good season after season 1 (i know you'll have different opinions about that and as i said i respect that) i like it so much coz it's solely focus on raphtalia, naofumi, atla, fohl, sadeena and about her past as well🥰

Well so many people get offended by how i addressed the changes between anime and light novels in my previous reviews so this time I'm gonna make this review simple as much as possible!✌️

My thoughts on season 2:-

It was good but not as much as season one, we get to know some or i say so many new characters some of them are irritating (ahm rishia) and some of them are cute (ahm raph chan, ost, kizuna)

The only problem I had with this season was it's pacing they cut down some parts and added some additional things and i don't have any problem with that but you're introducing so many new characters you've to give their story some times but they just jumped to the spirit tortoise storyline the moment we were trying to understand who are this new characters!

So overall it was a good season even though it felt a little rushed!

My thoughts on season 3:-

So many people are gonna hate me for this but can I just express what I felt after watching this season please!🙏

This season was my least fav coz in this season they tone down naofumi's character to make other characters shine.

Well we can't do anything about that so moving on the animation was good, the pacing became way faster than the previous one I was thinking that the creator thought how to make the new season even faster than the previous ones (it's like fast and furious, just kidding) they even cut down some good stuff as usual but it is what it is!!

There are some new characters as well some of them are cute (ahm syne) some of them are super cute (ahm atla) and some of them are badass (ahm sadina, fohl)

Overall you can watch and enjoy it, you can have different opinions about that and i respect that!

My thoughts on season 2

Season 2:- season was good but not as good as season 1 i like one thing that they included some parts in it which wasn't available in light novels and also removed some parts which play major roles towards the other three heroes (coz if they adapted those parts then we get to know how pathetic and worthless the other three heroes are like even after getting betrayed by them naofumi try his best to help them in every possible way but they think he is worthless in front of them🤦)

Parts which was included:-

They included some of the raphtalia and filo's scenes which didn't had in light novels for example when naofumi rescues filo after getting captured in another world she started crying so in light novel he didn't even console her or anything he just get confused and act like okay stop crying but in anime we get to see a wholesome scene where filo hug him while sleeping and request him to not to leave her side which was so wholesome🥰

And also this part when raphtalia met lark and his party after getting lost in another world and also how she got her vassal weapon, these parts get explained by lark in light novels but I'm glad they showed us in anime!

Most satisfying part when naofumi loose his temper and tell rishia that she is so worthless like she was the part of his party and he promised her to help her but all he think about itsuki's ass through whole tortoise incident🙄 (this part wasn't available in light novels but i guess the show runner just get irritated by her character just like me🤭)

Major parts which was removed:-

Ren insulting eclair when naofumi tells other three heroes to stick with them and do the training, if these parts get adaptated then people get more irritated by his character and also after what happened in season 3 it didn't make any sense (even it didn't make any sense for me in light novels either😑) like ren didn't even just insult eclair but also make fun of her position as a knight like she isn't anything in front of him and after the dual with her he make pathetic accusation like she cheated in it (i know it sounded like that re zero enemy to lovers shit but nope it isn't this part was way worse than that) and also this part when other three heros throws tantrums about the training and even threatening the queen to let them go in their own way😒

The part where itsuki treating rishia badly was also removed from it, i mean it just stay for few minutes in anime but in light novel it just showcase that how itsuki's character is way worse than naofumi like he didn't even consider to provide proper food to rishia even when she can't rely on anyone beside him (even naofumi took care of raphtalia's every need way better than itsuki😮‍💨) i swear if those parts where available in anime people get irritated by her character more than anyone, like she left her home for itsuki just coz he saved her one time and also destroyed the place where she lived (she don't give a ahm you get it) also that part when she try to do suicide after getting accused by itsuki and naofumi saves her and promise her that he will help her to get stronger and she tell him I'm still in love with master itsuki and I'm not gonna fall in love with you like wtf? He's genuinely helping you and you're accusing him🤦 (i swear to god every scene of her made me feel irritated both in anime and in light novels

Also the major part when naofumi actually admire raphtalia's looks, this part take place just when he reunite with her again with lark's party and he genuinely admire her miko outfit and even her looks like "you're looking cute in this clothes" which was missing from the whole season 2,3,4!💀 I just hated and didn't understand that part where she get irritated by wearing miko outfit and she even get more irritated by naofumi's comment like he wanted to see her in that outfit more and more coz it suited her (like girl you don't want that your man look and think only about you and you😵‍💫)

My thoughts on the season 1

S01:- season 1 was good or i say better than the rest of the seasons coz it's solely focus on the story what the title is about and it has good pacing, some few bonding scenes between the raphtalia and naofumi were cut in the anime which creates some major impact between both of them and same goes with filo but we can't do anything about that so moving on the problem with this season was (as everyone says) the revenge with the bitch yep it didn't make any impact like light novels did (even it has it's own problems as well I'll review that as well) it ended so quickly and it even cut the parts which landed early in light novels, i like a one thing about the anime was naofumi didn't care about the other 3 hero (not in a bad way) he didn't trust them after getting betrayed which was good, which showcase he have a little confident on his own which literally missing from the light novels which the whole season 1 is based😮‍💨 (all he talk about how motoyasu was the most handsome, ren was cool and itsuki was well composed through every novel it was so pathetic like he didn't even consider himself anything, like bro wtf😑) overall it was good enough to make you think that finnally you've watched something fresh in iseka genre besides harem, over powerful character who have everything and everyone besides him, untill you watch the other 3 seasons💀 (I'll review the other seasons as well)
