Little help with remembering a detail from the Web Novel

Does anyone remember the name of the "little girl in a lab coat" who dies to acid in chapter 343? She is described as Rat's rival, and I swear I remember her being one of those characters that is either older than they look or like... Some race with a diminutive stature.

It's been years since I read the web novel and iirc she's a mad scientist type who has some messed up experiments, but the details are slipping my mind atm. If it helps she is a member of Takt's faction and is executed near the end of the chapter.

Asking because this one "MaltyMelromarcSquad" jackass is trying to argue with me again after like 2 months in a different subreddit and I wanna make sure my details about this character are correct, but Google isn't turning up shit from like 20 different search terms and I really don't feel like reading dozens of chapters of the web novel again tonight.

Maybe in the next few months though..... Love the story.

What the heck happens in the web novel?

I finished watching the anime and did some research on the light novel and web novel, and I started wondering why the difference in the stories is so big. From what I understood in the web novel Naofumi becomes a kind of god; is the story in the light novel the same as the web novel?

Tbh, I think Ren falling for Main makes a bit more sense in the manga in my opinion.

-We see that he's rejected by villagers before Naofumi confronts him

-Naofumi seems a little bit more demanding about him comming to his village to prepare for the fight against the phoenix

-Main seems much more sympathetic and less agressive, plus Naofumi wasn't there at first to see her joining the discussion

-Ren seeing that Motoyasu really tries to touch her instead of Main just saying what possibly could have happened when she was part of his group

-Naofumi's big crashout is addressed to Ren and not to Main

-Ren seems much more emotionally unstable and broken

In the manga, she transforms into a human when Naofumi is about to leave her at the slave trader’s house so he can study her.
