A while back, I joked that the whole point of the signature colors for the Melromarc siblings and Mirellia was simply that blue + red = purple—and that was it. But upon further reflection, I noticed that red is the furthest color from purple on the spectrum, while blue is the closest.

This fact aligns amusingly with the relationships between Malty, Melty, and Mirellia—even though, I suspect, this wasn't originally intended.

Mirellia is close to Melty but emotionally distant from Malty. This isn't just due to the plot; it’s also because Malty acts as a reflection of Mirellia’s worst traits, albeit in a much more pronounced form.

The same applies to Melty, except she reflects Mirellia’s best qualities.

Incidentally, I believe this is why red is the perfect signature color for Malty; it allows her to signal the nature of her relationships with other characters without saying a word.

Returning to Mirellia—that initial observation comes into play here, too. Malty is, in a sense, an extension of her—since red + blue = purple—pointing to their family ties regardless of the complexities of their relationship.

Vesna has light Malty vibes lol

That's so adorable really 😭😭😭😭

"I-i think i failed as a mother 🥺🥺🥺🥺" well no shit you were okay with sending Malty to be raped to death like 70 pages ago

They are so so so cute here ( ＞Д＜；)

Not all of them. I got too lazy xd

As for Naomalty, putting them on the same house will bring more chemistry because they would be trying to ruin each other's lives, but not that much to lose their house points. Alsooooo thinking about them in the Slytherin quidditch team, where Naofumi is the chaser and Malty is the seeker. Oh, Naomalty, you two were born for the "forced partners" trope, haha.

I don't have a ukulele, so i won't apologize for this one

Feel free to ask questions because i have problems with forming my thoughts in English and might have missed some necessary explanation

Malty's genes didn't even try lol
