Do people purchase travel insurance when going out-of-province? Is it recommended?

I'm aware that ambulances aren't covered based on this page: OHIP coverage outside Ontario

Are there other reasons to do so?

What options are there at the bars that aren't much carbonated?

Mike's hard is fine but I'm wondering if there's other drinks I can try
