Need advice on opening a bike shop in Lansdowne.
Hello, I'm helping my friend Lou open a bike shop near the intersection of Lansdowne and Baltimore, and was wondering if any local people had input. We're incredibly low budget, only about four months of rent to work with.
We have a friend who owns a bike shop in Philadelphia that is going to let us raid his stockpile of parts and bikes, and I have a ton of tools I can bring over from my little repair business I run out of a storage building.
I'm going to try my best to help this work. I hear from a lot of people that they want a bike shop nearby.
My friend has about ten years of experience with working as a bike mechanic off and on for friend's bike shops. The idea is we start repairing bicycles on day one since there's no other option for us. I'm curious what sorts of bike shop things people are interested in.
