Hi I'm trying to redesign this character so it matches the environment style better.
The older version was made for a smaller scale, while the newer one is adapted for a larger environment. But I feel like something is still off with the redesign and I can’t really pinpoint what.
Which version works better in your opinion? And what would you change to improve the newer one?
Let's say that it runs smoothly and that we have Cassidy, Jett, Damon, Wenona, Grace and Diana left. How do you think it would play out?
I'd say:
Damon dies, no trial needed. His time runned out, he killed no one and died because of the perk.
A lot of time would pass and Wenona would realize that rescue is not coming anytime soon, she'll maybe kill Diana because she would be the most smart during the trial i think. Without Damon, Jean, Ulysses, Ingrid etc the remaining students would hve a hard time to prove Wenona is guilty and i'd say she would win the trial. (Unless Cassidy cheats by doing something since she hates Wenona)
Damon (Snake): He told Eva not to reveal the secret discovered at the pharmacy, which is part of what led to her death — a little bit similar to the snake in the Bible telling Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. He also got a perk in chapter 3 that allows him to poison any student. Damon’s symbolic animal could be a venomous snake.
Eva (Crow): A group of crows is called a murder. Crows steal a lot of things, just like Eva, who stole many objects to prepare her murder.
Desmond (Shark): Many people are afraid of his talent even though he has never killed anyone. Many are also afraid of sharks, even though they generally do not attack humans.
Eloise (Swan): Swans are often a symbol of grace, which can be linked to her ultimate talent, where she moves with elegant, fluid precision?
Toshiko (Flamingo): Two flamingos standing side by side can form a heart shape with their necks, which ties into her ultimate talent?
Wenona (Bear): Bears and bulls represent market cycles in entrepreneurship, bear market” refers to falling prices.
Ulysses (Owl): The owl can symbolize knowledge, and Ulysses has a deep understanding of the past. He also barely sleeps and often spends sleepless nights, and since owls are nocturnal animals, the symbolism fits him well.
Mark (Alligator): No idea...Maybe since Alligators symbolize patience and hidden strength, it could fit his calm personality?
Diana (Cameleon): She adapted like a chameleon and started imitating Wolfgang. As the Ultimate Cosmetologist, she can easily change someone’s appearance through makeup, just like a chameleon that changes its color to blend into its surroundings.
Wolfgang (Sheep): The first sacrifice of the killing game, just like the lamb, which is commonly seen as a sacrificial animal. There's also " beneath a sheep's skin hides a wolfish mind" which was a subtle forshadowing to the fact that he was actually a FRAUD.
Kai Monteago ( Butterfly): Not sure, he has the symbolism of the butterfly to represent a change he was going to undergo during the killing game, or a drastic change he experienced when becoming the Ultimate Influencer. He could also represent the butterfly effect, as his death in Chapter 3 must have had a major impact on Damon’s development?
Jett Dawson (Coyote): One of the fastest animal in the cast, to represent his ultimate talent. Coyotes survives in harsh environments and represents survival, flexibility, and ingenuity.
Ingrid (Lion): The lion is an animal that represents strength, and Ingrid is very strong both physically and mentally.
Grace (Rabbit): She is linked to the rabbit because, as the Ultimate Golfer, she scores into holes, while rabbits live in holes, more precisely burrows. golf courses can also resemble rabbit's natural habitat.
Jean (Dragon): Not sure...Dragons can symbolize power and dominance, fitting his role as a commanding captain.
Cassidy (Spider): Just like a spider traps its prey in its web, she trapped the students in her killing game. And since she streams a lot on websites, the spider fits her well because it uses “webs.”
