The outfit is totally over the top and just too much in my opinion, but seeing this kind of "clothing" on a male character is pretty damn rare.
I would say that the art itself is well done on a technical level though.
Do you think that this kind of art is in any way attractive for the female gaze, or is it only for the gay male gaze?

The male character wears proper badass looking armor while making an action pose that emphasis power.
The female character is scantily clad while making a somewhat similar pose that is different just enough to fully show off boobs and butt. I like her facial expression, but that is about it.
From a technical perspective I think this artwork is great, but sadly it perfectly illustrates how female and male character are treated drastically differently in art.

The outfit and pose are fine, but the anatomy is just atrocious.
Her waist is only marginally thicker than her neck and yet she has very wide hips.

Now, there is arguably some sexualization in this piece but I think it can be excused as it is the result of a decision made by the characters depicted here that makes sense given the context and setting.
Women are far too rarely allowed to have fun or be old in art.
Women being old and having fun at the same time is even rarer still.
Edit: No this is not AI slop. If you need proof, just look up the artist and their work.
This is just a solid and realistic design.
The only thing missing is armpit hair which a person from that time period would most certainly have, but besides that it is basically perfect.
10/10 would go insane looking for Dillion again.

The version from 2021 was alright.
The pose might be a bit questionable, but overall pretty good I would say. Good weapon, short hair, full armor, cool helmet.
Of course the "update" mostly involved removing the armor protecting the hips and pelvis, making the thighs thicker and letting her butt cheeks hang out.
Talk about a downgrade.
