Cal.com and other third-party integrations?
I tried my time to search for information without much of a clarity, so hopefully someone could enlighten me?
- Is it possible to integrate third-party scheduling solutions with the calendar? If not, how businesses that use Ksuite and rely on lead generation—or bookings in general—via a public scheduling interface, manage the calendar scheduling workflows? Cal.com is one example of a typical third-party solution being used for this type of a use case.
- Is it possible to manage Kdrive folders and files with workflow automation platforms such as n8n? I'm especially considering automated workflows to manage customer contracts with e-signatures, generating shared customer folders with standardized documents for customer onboarding, etc. API docs kind of hinted that it could be possible, but how is it in practice?
- IMAP triggers seem to work, or? Any experiences of working with them, for example in CRM workflows?
Depending on the business, there can be tons of these types of smaller and bigger email, calendar, and cloud files-related workflows with dependencies that repeat frequently. Without automation possibilities, the required manual labor compounds as missed opportunities, increased errors, and higher operative costs. That's why the lacking integrations alone can be a deal breaker, which can significantly decrease the total serviceable market.
A minor rant:
There already are many good enough European providers for the most core business tasks, but it's often really time consuming (and irritating) to research if they somehow would work together.
As most of the European alternatives seem to target business customers—who require integrations—why not cooperate, prioritize making easy connectors, list them transparently, and fill the documentation with actionable tutorials?
I just don't get the ignorance strategy, as it would tackle one key moat that the big tech has. Enterprises move slowly, but I bet the SMB and Mid-Market customer acquisition cost would decrease and deal velocity & conversions increase.
