hoLEP accomplished - now an important question for anyone who has had a catheter.

Yesterday I had the hoLEP. If you seen my previous posts and responses, my prostate was enlarged but not enough to justify the procedure alone. But the symptoms I had afforded my urologist enough information (all the testing) to do hoLEP and he found my bladder neck to be very tight and did what he could to give me relief.

I have a catheter and I have my follow up today at 1130, but here is the question, how can I survive any longer with this constant feeling of having to pee with this in? I can see my bag filling up, very orange (medicine) but I didn’t sleep, I can only lay on my back, but because I have chronic back pain, I can do this in 10 minute intervals. Does anyone have an at home remedy that can help? I won’t do it but I’ve thought about yanking it out. I called me doctor yesterday, he assured me it’s normal and I believe him, but my stubbornness is getting the best of me.

Also, anyone who has had hoLEP, how did you travel after? Unfortunately, I have a family emergency, and must travel 4 hours away, today, to possibly go say bye to a loved one (mom) as she herself was rushed into surgery/ICU yesterday but here I am not there. What do I need to take, leak pads, adult diapers, towels clothes?

What are the rules on children delivering packages (yes, this is a real question)?

I am just a normal and occasional Amazon user. Today, about 30 minutes ago, I received notice someone was at my door and more importantly, someone set my vehicle alarm off. I review the camera footage, and I see a child, about 10 years of age, drop off my package on the front porch and took off running, and smacked right into my brand new vehicle, driver side mirror. She appeared to be okay. I hear the driver (assuming it’s the parent) yell “get up and come on”… then, the kid gets up, brushes her knee off and proceeds to get in the back seat and they take off. I am not at home, so cannot verify damage to my vehicle yet.

I looked at the delivery confirmation picture and it is from the end of my driveway, zoomed in, so the driver was the one with the access.

Is this against policy? For flex drivers, who is the responsibility management to discuss if damage occurred to my vehicle.

Thanks,

Happy Wife = Happy Life: Question about her Equinox (interior lights)

So, yesterday, I took my wife to get her a new car. My daughter’s boyfriend worked at the dealership and got us a good deal and busted his butt to get my wife her 2026 Equinox RS. It so far, has met many expectations, but, there is a slight issue I cannot figure out and wanted to see if anyone else can help, I’ve started doing research and have come up empty thus far.

We lock the doors, interior dome lights cut off, after a few seconds, they cut back on. The entertainment center controls everything, I’ve tried every option possible I could read, am I missing something, how do we get the interiors lights to stay off?
