Some people in this community do not understand. If you found a promising lead (especially for a well-known song), do not share it in any circumstances unless you can debunk it yourself. If you can’t debunk it, share it with someone who is trusted, like a mod or a well-known individual who can help.
Things can go wrong in many ways, especially when we have a lot of bad apples in this community, like credit chasers and hoaxers who can drive the lead away and cause more headaches in the search process.

I get it; we want to help the search, but sometimes that can indirectly impact the search in negative results due to how many people are contacting the same person to the point of harassment.
We do not want another killer elite or, worse, a fool in love situation.
If you've debunked your lead, share it so the community understands that this lead is not the artist.

(Yes, this is kind of a direct callout to the two nice girls' LTL lead)
