Our new GM said that having alpha boxes on shelving units by the register "looked bad." So now we packed them ALL into boxes and put them in the van, so when we need alpha boxes, someone has to go get them from the warehouse. Seems deeply inefficient and like it'll look worse when we're trying to put in away, but maybe I'm wrong 🙃
I've been teaching a summer class for several weeks and despite my attempts to the contrary, they just got me my contract for the course last week. Further, I was promised I would be paid this week, an off week, my full paycheck plus back pay. That has not been the case.
I feel bad leaving my students to drift in the wind, but I can't work for free. Like all of us, I need money. I'm just furious that despite how much I have hounded them and been on top of it (which shouldn't be on me), they still can't seem to figure it the fuck out.
