To Norwegians, is Carlsen their most popular sportsman (including chess in all sports)? Or has Haaland surpassed him? Or is it someone else outsiders don't know as well?

Of course, the ratings are volatile during a huge tournament, and these will change after the final group matches. But I can't imagine any World Cup group's teams have ever ranked consecutively and so tightly bunched.
