I keep coming back to the CX9 Grand Touring for my "family" vehicle, and I narrowed it down to two options.

Option 1 - 2022 Mazda CX9 Grand Touring - CPO w/ 36k miles for $31k OTD

• Clean vehicle history and only has minor wear and tear
• Buying directly from dealership

Option 2 - 2021 Mazda CX9 Grand Touring - w/ 35k miles for $28k OTD

• Clean Vehicle history and just 1 scratch
• Buying from Carmax

Two concerns with buying the 2021: valve stem seal issues and buying from Carmax.

Should I spend the 4k extra on the 22 CPO to removed those risks or save that 3k and keep it just in case I do run into those issues?
