Does anyone out there have a copy of this box set that they’ve ripped via iTunes or anything of the sort, and would be willing to lend the files so I can add this one to the collection?? I believe I’ve got most of these songs between the Blame It All On My Roots box set and The Ultimate Collection, but from my understanding there are a few tracks that are exclusive to this set. I’d love to hear them!!
Y’all, please don’t let me down - I’ve been trying to figure this out for years now, and haven’t ever been able to, so I figure I’ll try a wider audience.
I’m a huge Randy Travis fan, and I mean huge. I archive any form of his music and media that isn’t run-of-the-mill, B-sides, alternate takes, demos, etc etc; well for years this one has stumped me.
On my local classic country radio station, the version they use for Three Wooden Crosses is a completely “country-fied” version of the song compared to what’s been released - has anyone else heard this before?? Am I going crazy?? The version they use is HEAVY on things like the fiddle, has a completely different intro, and just has an all-around different sound - but I’ve never been able to find it!
Please tell me someone else out there has heard this and knows what I’m talking about. I’ve been trying to find this version online since I heard it for the first time years ago, but alas, I’ve never been able to track it down. Thank you guys!
