Beautiful 4th of July in Seattle.

I replied to a couple other posts with a picture of different straps I’ve tried on the RP and got a lot of questions about where they are from. I’ve also seen a few posts with people asking for strap recommendations for their new RP. I’m always looking for strap suggestions myself so I figured I’d share what I’ve tried. Hopefully this helps someone out there. Scroll through for more examples of each.

1. (I would not recommend the spring deployant clasp as it doesn’t feel as secure as a locking clasp)

Ordered a custom strap from Delugs for my RP and I really like how it turned out. It’s also my first Delugs. I’m really impressed with the strap itself but I don’t love the spring deployant clap. I would much rather have a locking deployant with double push-button release. That’s easy enough to change though. Really happy with the look and feel overall!

Strap Details: Delugs, signature white sailcloth, black stitching, tan zermatt leather lining, quick release spring bars, 20mm-16mm taper, spring deployant clasp.

I don’t usually do black-and-white photos but it works with the Reverse Panda. Such a photogenic watch.

New sailcloth strap arrived. Feels like a completely different watch. Will be a nice addition to the speedy’s strap rotation.

Between this and the AT, I’m really loving the black lacquer finish that Omega is rolling out. The reflectivity of the speedy’s crystal often makes it hard for the richness of the black to come through in photos. This shot captured it better than most of mine so figured I’d share with all you wonderful internet strangers. For those considering this watch who are not able to easily go see in person, hope this helps.

I hope they incorporate this dial finish into more models going forward. Is the SMP 300 next? Cheers and happy Tuesday.
