The implications of 'The Wonders of Wiggle Town'
In my sleep deprived state of trying to settle a child who refuses to sleep through the night I've come to some shocking conclusions and theories about the existence of wiggle town and the implications that the wiggles give us when explaining the day to day life in wiggle town.
-The song starts off by saying everything in wiggle town is opposite, which has some weird and massive implications
-Pillows are hard and rocks are soft is another line. Okay, so are the pillows made to be hard, or do they become hard once they're finished the pillow making process. If I were to bring a pillow from outside wiggle town, would it become hard upon entering?
-then we have the question, what are the boundaries of wiggle town, because if indeed the pillow becomes hard upon entering, is it an instant change when walking over the property line, or is it something that happens gradually while you're inside?
-'The kittens hide and the mice Hunt's are we assuming that the food chain has also been inverted? Are the humans now at the bottom of the food chain? Is that why we see the wiggles eating mostly fruit salad and other grain based foods like cold spaghetti?
-'The Sheppards sleep and the sheep stand guard' seems to confirm the above point that humans are now at the bottom end of the food chain in wiggle town
-'The fishes fish, the men get caught' the more we hear the more it sounds like in wiggle town, humans are nothing but prey for every other living creature
-'The wise are fools' does this mean that if someone who's considered a genius were to enter wiggle town, would they enter a vegetative state with little recognition for the people around them?
'The loudest bells don't make a sound' If a tree falls in wiggle town and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?
-Is this effect caused by a central point and radiates outward, staying as strong as the center as it is on the rim, or does it diminish the further from the 'wiggle point'?
-If it's not a central point, does it depend on the soil or rocks upon which wiggle town exists, like the idea of a First Nations burial ground? If this is the case, if we were to move enough of the soil and rock from wiggle town, would that cause it to become a second wiggle town, or would it then become the sole wiggle town and the previous location cease to have it's abilities?
-If we were to set off a bomb in wiggle town, since everything is opposite, would it implode instead of explode? And would the imploding force be great enough to cause a black hole as the amount of mass that would be condensed into such a small area could be enough to cause such a gravitational anomaly?
I invite any further theories on wiggle town and will happily discuss other related topics, such as where exactly along the Australian coast the wiggle town exists and what the prerequisites are in order to be able to enter wiggle town safely.
