Pretty close to 1:110 scale to go with my other models. Built with pretty limited parts so I’ll probably revise and rebuild it later, but pretty happy with how it turned out for now.

My US Rocket Collection

With the Saturn V as the centerpiece, I also have 4 cornerstone rockets of early American space exploration.
As follows: Juno 1, put the first US satellite in space. Mercury Redstone, put the first American in space. Mercury Atlas, put the first American into orbit. And Titan II, was the first to put 2 Americans into space.

All in 1:110 scale, any suggestions on which I should make next?

Simple wooden caddy for my leather working out tools

Made from mostly leftover pine and a red oak dowel I had to spare. Finished up with danish oil. Still a few mistakes made but it serves its purpose well enough. Thoughts?

Finished up another hardwood box

Made with maple and alder for the sides and red oak dowels. For this one I tried grooving and adding plywood to both the top and bottom and then cutting it open on the table saw for a more seamless fit which worked quite well. Still a lot to improve on but it’s still a decent box. Thoughts?

A pair of maple and alder hardwood boxes I made

Made using rabbets joints for the corners which was my first time trying that. I tried 2 different style hinges, mortise hinges, and barrel hinges (which I now prefer) Installed magnets to keep the lids closed and finished them with different tones of danish oil. Thoughts?

Found at an antique mall. Wondering if this is authentic or if there is a better place to post this to figure out its authenticity. Thanks
