Gunslingers are said to have speed so fast you could barely see them draw their weapons. They’re incredibly accurate and can see great distances with amazing clarity. They’re also highly skilled diplomats and strategists.

Besides the ones mentioned in the Dark Tower books I can think of three characters in non Tower books who display gunslinger quickness and aim.

I know there are more than those so who else in your opinion belongs on this unofficial gunslinger list?

I read The Talisman for the first time a year and a half ago. I’m reading Dreamcatcher at the moment and Black House is next in publication order.

Are there a lot of call backs to Talisman as far as structure or references? Do you think if i remember the basic gist of Talisman that I’ll enjoy Black House as much?

I’m in my second tower journey but this time reading Kings entire bibliography as well.

I’m about to start Dreamcatcher and it got me wondering what was it like around this time for Tower junkies? When did y’all find out you were getting all three books back to back to back?

I remember following Kings recovery but I was only a casual fan, I’d read probably 8 of his books at that point and the Tower wasn’t even on my radar. Was it thrilling? Did you even believe it was going to happen?

My kid was playing earlier today, stopped to charge his Switch and now he keeps getting that red error screen. Any ideas?
