Is the Thermaltake View 380 XL still a good case considering it comes with DC fans?
Hi everyone,
I’m considering the Thermaltake View 380 XL TG ARGB for my new white build because I really like the fishtank design and the included reverse fans.
But I recently found out that the stock fans are DC (3-pin) instead of PWM.
So I wanted to ask people who are using this case:
- Are the stock DC fans actually good enough?
- How is the noise and airflow?
- Can fan speed still be controlled properly through the motherboard?
- Will a PWM fan hub/controller help in controlling these DC fans?
- Or is it better to replace them with PWM fans later?
I’m trying to keep the budget under control and avoid spending too much on extra fans immediately.
Would appreciate some real-world feedback from View 380 XL owners. Thanks!
