Crackhead > Salah

Remember Nadar’s story about Chantal leaving a thousand dollars on his nightstand after spending the night with him? Nadar confronted her about the wad of money she left in his room due to feeling emasculated and insulted by the gesture, and proceeded to admonish Chantal for treating him like a prostitute.

What Nadar didn’t understand was that Chantal was attempting to lure him into a dependenent relationship with her. Chantal knew once this crackhead sobered up and became lucid, he would be absolutely disgusted with himself and never want to be in the same room as her again. Chantal was setting the stage for “securing” a partner through payment knowing that no one would tolerate her willingly without needing her for something material.

Well, Chantal couldn’t even appeal to or control a crackhead with money because of how disgusting and foul she is.

Enter SALAH… wow….

Wow, wow, wow. Salah. As we all know, Salah gladly accepted the Chantal partner payment plan and continues to be able to endure the consequences of being accountable to this odious beast. I want to hear from all of you: what the FUCK is going on with SALAH’s psychology that this degenerate would be able do for money what a crackhead could not stomach and would not sink himself to be able to do?!

Confused about Leaf

I’m on day 7 of no 7 (yay!) BUT I have fucked up using 3G of leaf the past two nights. I am so naive and ignorant about Kratom (I jumped straight to 7) that I’m not sure if I should look at the last two nights as a win (because I slept like a champ and had previously not been for the first 5 days of CT) or if I need to seriously make sure I don’t use anymore leaf and will be just have to deal with being put right back in Insomnia land. I’ve searched this subreddit and noticed that there are so many differing views on leaf. Obviously, the end goal is to get off everything but like… are there stories where people regulate their sleep using leaf to bypass the horrible first week of insomnia or are you just prolonging the inevitable? Or is it a mix of pros and cons..? Of course sleep will be affected negatively without leaf, but will it be bad sleep v no sleep because of the transition? Or is this not a transition, but a full pause-button on my eventual detox. an Anyone’s experience with low dose leaf use during the first sketchy week of getting off of 7 would be greatly appreciated.

I’m Back

Man, oh Man. I’m back in the belly of WD. About to hit the 48 hour mark. When I was thrashing in bed last night I couldn’t believe that I had done this to myself again. As a chronic relapser, I am so scared of WD at this point. But that was what got me to finally stop again… Friday morning (while off the wagon for several weeks), I woke up in full-blown WD; that was something I’ve never expereinced before. I quit that day. I cannot stand WD symptoms, they spook me like the Devil at this point. Someone here talked about “Withdrawal Trauma” and that shit is real, maybe particularly because I always CT. The one helper med I used to use, Gabapentin, seems to not work anymore. I don’t regularly use it at all and go months without touching it… but it just doesn’t help with RLS anymore. That is scary as hell too. I am looking forward to my day 10 (that will be about one week from this post). I’m looking ahead. I’m playing the tape forward. But when it comes to staying off this shit, I’m going to take it one day at a time and just set my sights on making it to bed at the end of each day. Then, hopefully soon, I’ll start to come alive again and be able to put this behind me.

CHF

Does Chantel know she has Congestive Heart Failure? Does she know how CHF progresses? Does she know that’s why she is exhausted, out-of-breath, and turning purple from simply standing up or walking a few steps? Does she know that’s why she “seals” - because the fluid build-up in her chest cavity from her heart failing to adequately pump is making it hard for her to breath and get comfortable in other normal resting positions? Does she know that CHF is why she’s moved to essentially living on her scooter and that it is not due to her laziness or preference, but out of diminished heart functioning that will continue to deteriorate and get worse by the month?

I guess my larger question is… Chantel’s heart is in the lead for being be her cause of death. Her heart is so clearly running out of beats for the organ’s lifespan. Does she talk about this at all? She seems to be focusing on her diabetes, kidneys, and blood sugar, but her heart is literally giving-out on her live streams.

I remember one of Sansa’s videos from a couple of years ago when Sansa had her ER doctor friend comment on Chantel and he said the same thing - he said that above everything else from what he’s observed, his primary clinical concern is her heart giving out.

Realization on Insomnia

Looking for people’s personal experience with the symptom of Insomnia. My own anecdotal experience is that it is directly related to the duration of daily 7OH use and not as much the MG per day. For example, My last big quit I had terrible Insomnia for 10 days, but I had not accrued any clean time longer than 3-4 days for the prior 12 months. I was using a “low dose” of 40MG a day. Recently, I have been slipping/relapsing quit a bit, but continue to quickly get back on the wagon within a few days. The other WD symptoms from these constant relapses are just as awful as my big quit, but the insomnia isn’t lingering the way it did when I had the bad track record of daily use for that year, with no meaningful clean time behind me. Knowing this is actually what keeps me slipping for a few days, bearing the horrible WD’s for 3 days, but knowing that I’m so frightened of the Insomnia that I have to go CT ASAP and won’t keep the train going towards hell.

Anyone else notice that no matter how much 7OH you use daily, it’s primarily the duration of 7OH daily use that predicts the severity of the lingering insomnia?

Day 4 slip (20mg)

At the end of Day 4 I slipped up and took a 20mg pill. I was basically in the clear from acutes, even sleeping ok. Mood and energy still shit, but I think I was sleeping because I’ve been collecting a lot of clean time this month before slipping. I plan to not turn this last 20mg slip into a relapse so anyone do something similar and how bad did it set your WD’s back? I’m already having low-grade hot flashes and some doom and dread.

Update: I made it through to the next day. Didn’t turn a slip into a relapse. I slept through the night. I have mild chills and a bit of a runny nose again, but it did not RESTART my withdrawals to Day 1, it just set me back a little bit. Who knows, it may get rapidly better by the hour because I continue to stack more clean days than using days, my brain has had a bunch of time off this stuff now, and ultimately that’s what counts. Thanks for everyone’s support!

CT v Leaf

I relapsed on 50Mg/day recently, for 10 days. I am a chronic relapser, and CT detoxer. I thought I would try something different this time and use leaf for the first 4 days, maybe 10-12grams total a day. It indeed killed every withdrawal symptom so that was great. But now… I am starting day 2 of no leaf and I’m fucking getting the chills, feeling depressed and shit. Really worried about what tonight will look like and if there will be insomnia and RLS.

I always CT’d before and although it is dreadful, I know that I will be feeling PHYSICALLY fine by a certain point and that point comes quickly. Just using this Kratom leaf for 4 days has really fucked me up. I was never a user of normal kratom before and used it sparingly (maybe once a month) since quitting 7OH as it was better than relapsing on 7oH. I didn’t realize how much I was extending my detox by using leaf for 4 days FOLLOWING my 7OH relapse. I would much rather CT having tried extending the detox using leaf. I am a chronic relapser, and I am so sick of feeling sick. At least with CT, I can recover quickly and not be feeling the acutes unto the next week like I am using leaf to mitigate the worst of the withdrawals.

I get it now, Kratom has trace amounts of 7OH, but more importantly MIT that converts to substantial 7OH. So I was really not stopping 7OH when I thought I was and my body is now letting me know on a fucking Monday. Guys, it’s weak symptoms and nothing to be scared about - but as a chronic relapser I cannot stand even 1% of Kratom withdrawl symptoms anymore without losing my mind over it. I just want to feel normal. So just word to some of you on lower doses of 7OH - Gabapentin is a magic bullet for getting over withdrawal and detoxing ASAP and starting a full-detox for relief by the end of the week, not using leaf. Now I got to deal with this bullshit. Hopefully it will be over soon.
