Now that the WC players have been revealed, a lot of videos of players celebrating about being chosen have surfaced.
with a lot of people commenting one thing

"Ronaldo is stupid, he thinks It's just a 7-game tournament, look how much players are happy just to be able to play in it"

Well that's what happens when you look at everything Cristiano does with hate.

I get it, Ronaldo is arrogant, I myself consider Messi the GOAT even if Ronaldo is my favorite, but hating on him without understanding what he meant is stupid (not like I can stop people, I'm literally posting on a hate sub for him)

In the whole interview, there wasn't a single moment when he said WC was not an important tournament.

He said a 7-game tournament won't "DEFINE HIS LEGACY"
what this means is that, not winning the WC won't affect the career he has already built, no one can say he had a bad career(except some idiots)

Like how Cruyff, Maldini, de bryune, Lampard, Beckham etc haven't won it either but their career are still great and no one can say they were not good just because they didn't win the WC

And yes I know Messi had less years outside of spain, but that just means he couldn't prove himself out of the Spanish league. Maybe he could have been great but it's all hypothetical, but ronaldo actually did play and proved he could do it outside of Spain too.
