Please Tell Me Someone Else Made this Joke When the Episode Aired

Please Tell Me Someone Else Made this Joke When the Episode Aired

Convincing my non-anime watching friend to watch AOT by explaining there was a Breaking Bad style “I watched Jane die” moment and I couldn’t get this out of my head.

We’re currently on season 4, so I needed to prepare accordingly.

For My First Time Watcher Friend- Please Share Your Favorite AOT Memes

Title- I’ll be sending them as we watch from here so she doesn’t get spoiled, but I’d love some popular ones, some deep cuts, and possibly some from when it was airing originally if possible!

How do You Define “Mean Spirited” Horror Films

So with the release of Curry Barker’s film, there’s been a lot of talk about it being mean-spirited and it’s a description I’ve never been able to fully wrap my head around. I’ve used it a few times for different movies, but it always feels like a glove that doesn’t quite fit, so I’m polling the audience haha.

What makes a horror movie mean-spirited in your opinion?

Edit: italics added to clarify that I’ve used mean spirited to describe other films (like Eden Lake and Funny Games). This was a specific question about how people define the term, and Obsession was my current film reference point.

And for the few people who keep explaining the plot of Obsession to me and why it’s horrific- I understood the movie thanks, I never said I thought the mean-spiritedness was directed at Bear.
