Update to the shelves...

SOOOOOOOO I may have broke a buying ban(not including DCC pre book 8 lol) but I swear it was worth it....

Yes, there are gaps but no biggie, I buy them as needed.

(I got all my Defiance of the Fall second hand 💪😤)

Apocalypse Breaker series by Aaron Renfoe& Sean Oswald Physical prints?

Hey does anyone know when the series is getting physical prints and where?

Or do they already exist elsewhere? I tried google searching but didn't come up with anything even on the publisher website.

I doubt its going to be printed on Amazon I think they have like a 830 page limit on POD and since its through a publisher, I would assume its going through ingram. 🤔

EDIT* sorry I'm referring to the series as a whole aka book 2 and onward, I know book 1 is available.

To buy or not to buy....

Look, lately a lot of the new series I have started have been getting publishing deals and I LOVE that for them. However, I already know when I see book 1 no longer in print in paperback that the rest are going to follow... eventually.

I am currently restricting myself to a buying ban with exceptions but I'm scared to miss out on books going completely out of print in paperback just to be reprinted in hardback 6months to a year later with 0 news on paperbacks.

Its a entirely privileged thing to be concerned about but also I stresses me out terribly with fomo since I strongly prefer paperbacks/original covers, scalpers like to ruin everything and publishers sometimes will drop books/series if they don't sell well, leaving authors to pick up the pieces and a lot won't bother to continue/reprint.....

So like I have several series I was thinking of binge buying. Some I've started, some I have not but like should I just do it like every other paycheck. I'm kind of scared, I'll check the next day just for it to say "out of stock" and, for those who know, the sinking feeling in your stomach is AWFUL.

It's like shit......

Current series I'm currently debating binge buying:

Primal Hunter (16 books so far, finished book 3 and heading into book 4, I have book 1&2 physical and been reading the rest kindle, its not at risk for being out of print....for now )

Path of Ascension (12 so far, 10 physical, Haven't started but had to buy book 1 from the UK but the rest are still available......for now)

Battle Mage Farmer (9 books in total, finished book 2 and heading into book 3, unable to find book 1 and I'm sad AF because I kind of love this f_cking series இ௰இ. The rest of the series is still available... for now)

Defiance of the Fall (17 books so far, haven't started but I got the second to last copy second hand for book 1 just as they announced the hardback, I know they are changing due to editing but I want the paperbacks/original covers. If it bugs me enough, I'll get the e-books later. book 2 and on are still available... for now.)

Induction-Welcome to the multiverse (12 books so far, 11 physical, Haven't read it but been eyeing it and I see book 1 is on sale for a wonky price, which is usually a sign that it'll be out of print soon.....)

I know most on here will likely say to just buy them, especially with the attack on physical media right now but like.... idk, its hard to explain.

TIER LIST July 2026

YES, my current reading is accurate (lol) and I do read this many books at once because I am a MOOD reader. 😫 I either have I've snagged a lot of these on kindle to make the BRICKS easier to read. (I love a good brick of a book but it is NOT easy to carry in a tote back without busting it up lol)

But a good chunk of them I do have the physicals as well from either secondhand or library. I'm so butthurt I didn't finish book one of For Glory before it got stubbed though so now i have to get it on kindle to finish lol

Please post your physical books outside of Zon

Hey yall Hey.

I have come bearing a request. If you are able, aka if you own your ISBN, can yall please post your PHYSICAL books outside of Amazon. I understand keeping your e-books locked into KDP because of the royalties but I personally dislike buying physical books from Zon. (I dislike them as a company in their predatory ways AND their shipping quality on new books is awful.)

I understand publishing is expensive and not saying it's a must but if you can, please publish it outside of the Zon eco-system. I prefer and ENJOY buying books from Barnes, scifier and so on.

June 2026 Tier List (LitRPG newbie lol)

Hello,Hello everyone! I have come with my current Tier list. I actually read my first LitRPG last year (and it was actually not DCC *GASP* I know~ shocking lol)

Now of course this list is for funsies, but is my current opinion or intention with my current LitPRG/Gamelit collection. I mostly read physical but since I am cutting down on spending, I've been buying kindle books. ( No, not kindle unlimited because I refuse to give Amazon another dime or piece of my data unless I have to. and authors get better revenue even if I DNF/pause a book if I purchase it outright. Trust me I check if it's available through the author FIRST, then go down the list from there until Kindle is my last resort.)

Side note, I forgot to put For Glory on here because it's the only thing I'm currently semi-consistently reading on Royal Road.

The only two books I have not paid for on this list is Heretical Fishing 2 (Got from the library), Life in the North (publisher posted full audiobook on youtube) and For Glory ( Reading on royal road).

Forgot to put on Tier List, many apologies T__T

Battle mage Farmer; domestication

Hello everyone, I just had a question. I've been looking at the battle mage farmer by Seth Ring. I read the first three chapter sample on kindle and I enjoy the vibes of it but saw mixed things on here.

I was looking to collect the indie covers but wanted to get opinions on it?

That way I can assess before I put out forreals feelers. (if you want to get rid of your paperbacks for the hardbacks, I'm down to take them off your hands for either RP(or less) +shipping cost. I'm not paying scalper prices for USED books so don't even whine about it because rest of the series is still available aside from book 1.)

Level; Unknown by David Dalglish

I was going through the Tier list tab and I was curious how Level; Unknown has not made it on any of the lists?

I just finished book 2 a little bit ago and the plot is immaculate. The MC Nick also doesn't get off scot free with his leveling up and he genuinely has to work for it?

I recently asked the author if he was planning to write more but he said he wasn't sure since it wasn't doing so hot compared to his fantasy novels and I was genuinely flabbergasted......

I am a bit new on the LitRPG genre but highly recommend.

Is Path of Ascension Book 1 by C. Mantis OOP?

Hello everyone, me again. I end up stumbling upon Path of Ascension on my search through LitRPG but for some reason, book 1 in paperback with the cool cover is just like....gone? Does anyone know if its been picked up for trad or is it an error?

(I don't want the hardback and i don't use e-readers so I can't read on kindle. It looks like the physicals are only available on Amazon too.🙄)

HWFWM indie paperback 1-3 hunt

Hello Hello everyone! I was looking for the first 3 indie paperback versions of He who fights with monsters at no higher than RRP price? (only condition being gross stains, mold/water damage, annotations, rips or otherwise crazy damage need not mention. However I don't care about a creased or cracked spine, yellowed paper or dog eared pages.)

I know the series is super polarizing so I was hoping to take the first 3 of the series off someone's hands. I know they just had their trad release but I personally hate the new covers and sprayed edges, and I'm not much of a fan of hardbacks to begin with.

Yes I know some folks are selling them second hand on eBay and such but I REFUSE to pay such blasphemous scalper prices. lol

We can discuss payment and shipping options at a later time once condition and possession has been verified.
