Solo traveller looking for partner!

Heey! Solo traveller from western Canada in Cancun for the next 5 days. Looking for someone that wants to partner up for some adventures. Thinking of hitting up Isla Mujeres one day, the Mandela Beach Club another day and maybe Coco Bongos one night! I’m staying at an Airbnb in the hotel district. I’ve been to Cancun many times, just looking for a partner to share the experience with. DM me to chat! Cheers.

Is anyone else writing a family history book? Looking for a genealogy friend!

Greetings,

First time poster here. When going through my grandmothers old paperwork with my father for another project I found two old manuscripts written in old Dano-Norwegian around 1897 by a genealogist my great great grandfather commissioned. I also found several family trees, with the oldest date being 860. My father’s maternal line is quite well documented and after discovering all this I decided to write a history book of my entire genealogy. I’ve discovered so much information it has become almost overwhelming. Wondering if anyone out there is writing something similar? I’m wondering if anyone wants to be genealogy friends? I don’t have anyone really to talk about things and details with as I work on this. On my dads side I’m Danish/Norwegian, and on my mothers side I’m Black Sea German/Ukrainian. Send me a DM if you’d be interested being friends.

I’m working on a project for pride month. I need to source 47 genuine goat scrotum leathers, two bolts of velvet and a 5 gallon pail of glitter ✨

Anyone know where to get genuine goat scrotum leather?

Question for the American millwrights

I work in an industry that gives me exposure to working with lots of millwrights and welders from the USA. I’ve noticed a huge difference in the skill levels between the two. For reference, where I am I Canada millwright is a 4 year trade. It requires you to do 6000+ supervised training hours and 4 periods of technical training at a technical institute, as well as passing provincial qualification exams every year and a federally administered Ref Seal Exam to receive your interprovincial certification. When we graduate from school we receive an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Mechanics. You can do an additional Blur Seal as well in business training for those starting businesses or getting into supervisory positions. That is a provincially approved certification. So the question is what training and state/federal schooling, exams and certifications do you require to become a millwright in America?

Hoodies at work.

What’s up with hoodie nazis at work? Sites of supervisors that don’t allow hoodies are stupid. Never heard of an incident because a guy had a hoodie on. If you’ve ever told someone they can’t wear a hoodie, I want you to know you’re a douchebag.
