Real or fake TLM103?

Bought this on marketplace for $480. It sounds terrible. It sounds boxy and like it’s missing a lot of top end compared to the TLM103 I used to own back in the day. Beneath this capsule when you pull it out is a pcb with the Nuemann logo branded on it connected to the XLR input. Fake or faulty? What you guys think

Nuemann tlm103 sounds horrible

Just picked up this nuemann tlm 103 and it sounds extremely boxy and like it’s missing top end. I took it apart and the capsule looks dusty. I’m wondering if the low quality has something to do with either the dust or the fact I’m running it through a focusrite solo 4th gen interface. All comparisons online lead me to believe it’s real, but the sound is NOT what I’d expect from a tlm103. Any advice?
