Has anyone tried a keto cake recipe that uses almond flour and replaced it pork rinds "flour" ? We have an almond allergy in my family and I've had great success with replacing almond flour with pork panko in savory recipes but haven't tried sweet yet. Kiddo has a birthday coming up and all the actually fluffy looking keto choc cakes use almond.flour so I'm hoping to tap the keto hive mind for info! Thanks!!
My husband & I are both baptized and raised in the Catholic Church but after some heartaches started in and have raised our children in the Protestant church. I felt called back and my husband was not excited but was willing to check out a local Catholic Church. He ended up saying no to this as the way forward for our family, but I keep getting Catholic priests in my shorts feeds that keep discussing the value of confession and how it can clear our demons (I am not sure if I have them, btw!) And confession keeps coming back up in my heart. I want to honor my husband and pray for us to chang3e, but in the meantime would a priest even allow me to come in for confession? I have seen some horror stories of rejecting priests and I am probably TOOOO sensitive to rejection so I keep faltering on even asking this. Please feel free to be honest with me even though I've mentioned my sensitivity, I do not want to make a fool of myself if I would no longer be welcome to make confession, especially if I have no clue when or if my husband and our family would return. TIA for even allowing this kind of forum to be accessible for me to ask!
