Aer lingus lost my checked bag and crew provided strange service that was almost charming but ultimately disastrous
I don’t usually complain about service but that was comically bad service from their crew. One of the flight attendants was gossiping really loud about another passenger she didn’t like and also a bad date she went on w/ a guy with veneers and like, inching slowly, slowly up the aisle so she could pause at every seat and tell another part of the story to the other flight attendant, it took hours for them to serve and collect lunch. Normally I really appreciate this kind of bad service except that she wasn’t very nice to me personally and no one could get down the aisle to use the bathroom. She asked me to pass her a tray over another passenger’s head and the tray had tomato juice on it that spilled all over the passenger and all over my seat. And she was like sorry we only have this one napkin lmao. I used a blanket and water to try to clean the juice but then my seat was wet and I complained and she said, completely exasperated, “ok unzip the seat cushion and come to the back of the plane and I’ll give you a new seat cushion” so I had to disassemble and reassemble my own seat. Then o landed and my suitcase never arrived!
