AKAI mini mk2 - colour lights not responding
Hi all.
Prepping for a festival and my trusty and reliable AKAI mini mk2 has suddenly stopped displaying colour correctly.
Resolume 7. Windows 11.
Input is fine. Colour output on the pads now totally blank or not responsive.
I have tried:
Updating drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling etc.
Toggling the midi prefs in Resolume.
Switching cables.
Creating new project, Deleting all prior mapping and starting fresh.
Rebooting laptop etc etc.
Sometimes I’ll refresh the prefs and it’ll display 1 colour on my test file, or display an old full map, but then won’t be responsive.
Gone round and round on chapgpt and not nowhere.
I think this may be to do with a windows 11 update to usb functions, and it’s sending output somewhere weird? Idk I’m not so good with stuff like this.
Really stuck on this, and it’s important to my workflow.
It’s weird I had this issue a couple months ago and after 24hrs it reset itself. Praying that just happens again but … HELP!? Xx
