So I overdid it with a roast in my smoker a while back and it is almost jerky dry. I divided it up into 1# vacuum packs and froze it. I split up one package for pinto beans and it was absolutely delicious. I would like to make a nice basic stew with it but not sure how put that together with the pre cooked meat. Can I just add the ingredients we like and put it on low until everything is hot or are there potential issues I'm not thinking of?

Thanks for any help. I'm not great at experimenting with cooking.

1986 Schwinn Passage restomodded

My daily driver. 1986 Schwinn Passage canti posts repositioned to work with 700, dropouts spread to accept 10spd. I had this built up as a 3x9 for a long time but recently changed that to 2x10 with Microshift FD, RD, brifters and shimano compact crank. I do have the original rear rack as well just not installed currently. You may notice there are no pedals. Well thats because she's taking a short rest while I decide whether to put a new headset in or go loose ball bearings for a little while due to indexing headset. Got both coming and will decide later. Riding my cf Giant for a little while.
