I just listened to Adela's "Nicole Kidman" . Is it possible it might give ua an early taste of the direction pop music will go in for the late 2020s/early 30s.

Ine thing I have noticed were some slight recession pop influences in it which means maybe, just maybe, the lata 00s/early 10s will be the next nostalgia cycle. So far it doesn't seem to sound too much like most of the stuff you currently hear on pop radio. Could the 30s see a rejection of the country esthetic in favor of more urban ones?

It seems like from what I have noticed looking at past trends that the 6th year of a decade tends to be the year when we get thw first hinta of what the next decade is going to go in.

What are your thoughts?

Edit: Or am I just so damn sick of Country?

I enjoyed the Summer Abroad season. But at the same time I couldn't help but find it just a little too "polished" if that make sense.

Dont get me wrong. It was definitely enjoyable. (Especially how we got to see some growth from characters like Than and Sasion) But I also felt like the low budget crude charm of the first few seasons was missing and at times it felt more like I was watching a conventional network sitcom.

Am I alone in thinking this?

When you really think about it, if Rachel was still popular, she'd most likely be just as big of a stuck up "rhymes with rich" as Mackenzie or Brittnay.

I know its been over a week but I still feel heartbroken over Dolly's passing! :-(

I don't know what it is, for some reason this celebrity death hits different for me, it almost feels like a friend or auntie I was close to died. I know its strange for me to feel this mournful over someone Ive never even met or communicated with personally but in many ways its feels like she was a friend. I don't know what it is. Maybe its because her music always felt so personal and she had always been around in some capacity and now thats gone.

Anyone else in the same boat or feel the same way over a particular artist's death?

RIP Dolly Parton. As a tribute, here's Ms. Barch's Dolly alter-ego.

For real though, a truly sad day for humanity 😢

Ever have a moment where you're listening to Pandora, Spotify, iTunes...etc and a song comes on that seems to just reflect your mood at that moment?

One time a couple years back when I was driving in rush hour traffic and dealing with stress related to a dying parent that I had a very up and down relationship with the Annie Lennox classic "Little Bird" popped on my Pandora 90s station and seriously did it hit me in that moment and like thw lyrics in the video I also wished I could fly away from there.

Anyone else have similar stories or commentary on the Lennox classic?

If they revive it, I would love to see them all as adults. What could you see them doing now?

Mackenzie would likely become a high powered executive like her Mother.

Any other?
