What math system is Coles using here? 2 for $30, or 1 for $30?

Who is buying a single box at full price to make this look like a deal? Would you rather buy 1 for $30, 2 for $30, or take your $30 elsewhere entirely?

Four friends, One holiday and a $1,530 bill.

CAN YOU SOLVE THIS WITHOUT A CALCULATOR?

Four friends, One holiday and a $1,530 bill.

But there's a catch…

One person is paying $50 more than the other three.

How much does each person pay?

Drop your answer in the comments, and show us how you worked it out!

Site Update

Added - a grade selector to the learning section, so you can set your learning level to where you think it is at, this can be changed at any given time, otherwise if you skip it will learn where you are at over time.

Added - full screen mode for Slice Rush to feel like an actual game.

Added - monthly progress emails, so we can let you know how you are doing and what needs improvement.

Fixed - progress tracking in Slice Rush was not being tracked but has now been fixed.

Your feedback has been helpful to us and we look forward to hearing more feedback to make more improvements and bug fixes that we have missed out on, thank you very much.

Make 257 using only the numbers 2, 5, 6, and 8

Can you reach the target number 257 using only the following four digits?

Given numbers are 2, 5, 6, and 8.

The only rule is you must use each of the four numbers exactly once.

(You may use +, −, ×, ÷, brackets, powers, and factorials.)

Make 10 using only these numbers

You can use any equations, must reach the target and show working out, people say it cannot be done.

Math Game Suggestion

I’m looking for a game that can teach me math because I find it pretty boring and was hoping to get some stimulation while learning but so far I’ve only been able to find games for like kindergarten or just straight up flashcards / math problems

Any suggestions?
