My office job in a nutshell

Sit down, answer 2-5 emails, finish tasks within 30 mins. Get paid for doing nothing the next 7 and a half hours.

Not sure why they hired me fr.

Don’t wanna be alone and broke when I’m old so I’m starting to invest at 23

Hi all, 23F. just sharing that I set up my auto invest plan in vanguard. I think i iust gave up on socializing romantically and if I’m gonna be single long term, might as well be financially stable.

I’m based in australia. My portfolio split is 70% V500 or S&P 500. The other 30%, I’m investing it on VAN0104AU or also called Vanguard Australian shares high yield. (so $490aud/ $210aud per fortnight)

Please advise me if there’s a better option for portfolio split if i plan to be keeping this long term (till i’m 45-ish).

Ps. I know my contribution may be not much but that’s what i can realistically invest consistently for long term.
