Self pitch question
Self pitch league (pitcher is on your team), one of our pitchers is standing in a line towards the second baseman and not in the middle of the diamond. So extremely to the right side of the “mound”, around 20 feet.
I think they’re afraid of getting hit but they claim that standing there and pitching doesn’t make a difference in hitting but I notice a lot of our team makes terrible contact when they pitch.
Is there positioning affecting hitting or we just terrible? 😂
