Pony Rim

Removing old tires from Pony rims and prepping them for paint. Got a lot of brake dust off the back however I was wondering how many people have painted the back side of the rim or is it even worth the time and cost

Quarter Windows

I’m about to reinstall my quarter windows after refurbishing. How many of you added a epoxy to the stud area to prevent them from pulling out? I understand that you aren’t supposed to use German torque on the nuts however I don’t want to pop the window back out unless absolutely necessary

Caster / Camber Plates

Got caster camber plates so my question is after reviewing several videos is that the old top rubber bushings and plastic boots do not go back on however do the lower rubber bushings stay on?

Rear springs

I am in the process of removing rear springs. Car is on jack stands and bottom shock bolts are out and lowered jack however there’s still quite a bit of tension. My guess is to remove back bolts of lower control arms to remove the tension?

Gas tank issues

Any fellow Floridians out there dealing with rusty interior of gas tank? I was working on organizing wire tuck and went to start car and it didn’t want to start and when it did it was rough. Rechecked wires thinking it was that however that I checked fuel pump and removed it and it was nasty inside tank. Previous owner changed tank and everything to tank about 6 years ago. I’ve only put non ethanol and fuel conditioner in it. Fuel was orange and inside tank was rusted. Seal on side of filler neck wasn’t broken. I’m kinda confused about this one. I only use non ethanol in lawn equipment and boat with no issues. Tips or tricks? New tank ordered with parts

I did a wire tuck awhile ago and got around to removing starter solenoid and wired in a relay for mini starter. Organized wires to a buss bar. Went to start car and it had a hard time starting and when it did it was a odd idle and stumble when gas pedal pushed. I turned it of and rechecked to ensure no wires were left off post. Turned key on and did not here normal humming noise from fuel pump. Back seat and trunk are stripped so it’s a noticeable noise. This time it was just like a low click. Is it just a coincidence that the pump is going out or my reroute of wires could have caused this?
