Nods or LAM first

I am currently trying to break into the night vision circuit, gonna go monocle analog to start with. I can afford just a device (no mounts or helmets or what have you) or I can get an IRIS 3 and get at least some use out of the vis laser for the time being.

Which way western man?

Also, I know more about Astro-Physics than I do night vision. So if someone could give some monocle recommendations that’d be sick

Basic gas block

Refuses to lock back, and ejects VIOLENTLY to the 1:00. Like MLB fastballs. I’m considering Sprinco Orange and a Carbine/H1 buffer. Kinda leery of AGBs, and I’m unsure if those tuned gas tubes are worth the money.
