High dollar rifle or high dollar optic?
Example, $700ish rifle with $1400 optic/magnifier.
What to YOU is more important? Putting more money into the rifle itself and having a good mid-tier priced optic. Or, a solid budget rifle and putting more money into optics.
For context, the optic was a gift. I just felt dirty putting it on a PSA build lol

New rifle
Ok so im on the fence on my first AR and i came in search of yalls opinion.
The top ones im looking at is
Super Duty MOD1-A
SIG516 G3
A built noveske with a geissele bcg
a bcm build
SAINT VICTOR AR-15 RIFLE from springfield
And i know most of yall will say G$ and i agree BUT im newish (love guns, never had a chance to use em as much as id like) Also noveske is an iffy one, just always liked the look but looks dont matter if it fails after 600 rounds

What am I gaining spending an extra $500 for a G$ over a BCM 11.5?
This is dot and magnifier gun so sub MOA isn’t what I’m goin for. Running a Hux can so gassing shouldnt be super important. Not tryna get anybody worked up just wanna see if you can talk me into the Super Duty given this info. I guess maybe since the hux muzzle device is included as well as charging handle makes it more like a $300 difference at that point.

Furniture makes the house better
As the title suggests, furniture really does make the house feel more like home. Heres a before and after, Wasn’t entirely sure how much I’d like the grip but it’s absolutely lovely in the hands. The stock was purely aesthetics, but the grip is a world of a difference and I moved the scope to a more manageable position for eye relief. A few more things and I can firmly consider this budget build done.

MK12 Got a little upgrade today
Swapped my LMT lower over to my MK12 and gave it an FCD safety since neither of them work with the ARC fire I want to use on my other build. Doesn't look half bad like this at all.

What do you guys think of Sibian Armory FM15 rifles?
A few months ago, semi-auto rifles from .223 and up were unbanned for the regular joe in my country. I am waiting for imports to open up a bit more to get a BCM or a M&P, but so far every major gunstore only has this Sibian Armory brand. I watch a few guntubers and gun reviewers, and have never heard of this brand. Are they any good? Is it worth getting one or should I keep waiting?

BCM still over DD?
It seems like all these years everyone loved them some BCM because it was “quality without the price tag”. But here recently DD has dropped their prices so much that they are substantially cheaper than BCM and I’m confused why people aren’t more excited about it?
I’ve shot both and they both have great QC but I personally own DD and don’t understand why they’re not being hyped more now that you can get a M4V7 for $1300-1400.

Mocked up my next build
Excuse the poor photochop but it gets the job done.
It’s either this build or a LMT spec war upper with d.wilson converted 12.5 criterion and riflespeed GB or a complete solgw mk1.
Build plan.
Upper-Vltor MUR
Barrel-Criterion Hybrid 13.9
Gas block- Riflespeed adjustable
Hand guard- PRI rifle length with recce rail.
Suppressor- Rhodie 6k
I already own the EOtech 558 and a complete BCM lower that I plan on throwing an a5 buffer on.
The goal would be my Go to GPR.
If my measurements are right this should still be an inch shorter than my 16” barrel with surefire muzzle brake and roughly the same weight w/o suppressor.
My current upper already has a 14” pri handguard that I plan on putting a full top rail on and re barreling to 6arc to be my precision upper.
I’m pretty sure the LMT Spec war would be a good option (arguably better) that I may still end up going with but the Vltor mur with the pri toob would be sick as hell.
This will be a sbr either way, not planning on p&w.
