New to this sub, so I thought I'd share my build.

I painted most of it over the weekend and then painted the rail panels, handbrake and grip today. I still have to paint the light and stock, and then source G$ parts to swap out the BCM buffer/spring, BCG, charging handle, and trigger.

This was going to be my only non-rattlecanned build but I couldn't resist any longer. I still have to source and swap in a few Geiselle parts for it to be a complete Super Duty build.

Before the VA bans were supposed to go into effect, I wanted a not-so-poor build and decided to build a Super Duty. I bought the lower, built it with a BCM LPK/buffer kit/stock, and then Form 1'd it. I then decided to build a temporary upper until I piece together an SD. So, I used a spare BCM BCG/CH/blem upper receiver, an 11.5" Hanson barrel, and a Griffin rail.

Fast forward to last week... I was on GAFS Hub looking for SD parts. I found a brand new stripped 11.5" SD upper for a good price and it was delivered yesterday. Threw on the Emissary grip/handbrake/panels, the Holosun SCRS, the MBUS Pros, and the ESD sling. I'm waiting for a HM3X magnifier that I also got on GAFS.

I still need to get a Geiselle REBCG, ACH, buffer, flat wire, and trigger.

I'm planning to hit the range later today for function checks and zero. I think I'm starting to like the DDC more than my Griffin Warhawk Green and Terra Brown builds.

I decided to submit another one before July 1st just to see what would happen. I probably should've ventured away from the AR platform, or at least try other calibers, instead of building out different 5.56 barrel lengths. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Another spare parts range toy completed and painted. Anyone remember the Troy slick upper receiver that Primary Arms had on Christmas sale a few years ago for $29? I finally had a use for it with this 16" DoubleStar bull barrel and MI rail on top of a Griffin MK1 lower and B5 wolf gray furniture. I'll eventually replace the Reptilia grip with a B5.

This range toy is probably my last build before we embrace the Virginia suck. The scope and mount are from GAFS and are birthday presents to my son in law.
