Question about my optic

This is my first and only rifle, But the thought of running An ACOG/RMR Top dot is super appealing to me, especially since I've got a quad rail seems it'd match the aesthetics, but functionally speaking, does the ACOG/RMR do anything better than what my current optic stack does? Running a Sig 4xt pro with a G45. Anyone make the switch from a red dot/mag to a ACOG and if so, what are your thoughts?

Does this look like rust?

Can't really tell, doesn't seem to be pitted but I'm not 100% sure. I've only had the shotgun a couple months but I have been shooting the hell out of it and I keep everything oiled.

Imperium Handguard question

is this very slight gap between the collar and receiver normal on the imperium handguard?

Worth the price tag?

Have had the 1301 for awhile now with a couple hundred rounds through it, wanted to upgrade the stock and forend though and it seems that the aridus along the sga stock is the way to go, is this package worth it? or would it be worth getting everything separate? I'm also really wanting the FDE stock but if this package is worth it I'd consider it.

Quad rail switch

I currently have a ddm4v7 that I enjoy shooting but I can't get over how awesome the quad rail system looks, would it be worth selling my 16" upper and switching to the m4a1 quad rail upper? Anyone on here make this switch and regretted it?

Best optic for the 1301?

Big window, big circle and center dot reticle and reliability are the 3 main features I'm looking for. After doing research it seems the Holosun 501 comp is the favorite but before I make the purchase I wanted to 100% make sure it's still the best option for the 1301

Left handed DD shooter

We got any left handers in here? I got a DDM4V7 a few months ago, put around 500 rounds through it so far, it's my first ar15. I'm left handed though and one thing I've noticed is how gassy it is, I know they're notoriously known for being gassy but my rifle gets pretty uncomfortable to shoot since the gas goes straight into my face after every shot. Does anyone have any advice that can help mitigate the gas without doing anything to the gas block? Thanks.

Are eotechs still on top?

I've got a 4xt pro but the bigger window and the same size difference under magnification is appealing to me, is it worth trading out? or should I stick with the red dot? I love the battery life but not sure if that's worth the pros of the eotech, what do y'all think?

Range question

So this past weekend I went shooting and it was the first time I've tried to shoot past 50 yards standing and free handed and ended up shooting around 5-6 MOA at 75 yards. The biggest issue I ran into was the sway due to fatigue trying to take precise shots while standing and having my vertical foregrip pretty far forward on my barrel. Besides practicing more, what are some tips to tighten my groups at semi longer ranges? one thing that might help the fatigue is moving my foregrip closer to the magwell but Amy tips would help

1301s recoil is as smooth as butter

First time shooting, what a badass shotgun, used some spicy 1425fps 00 buckshot and felt like I could've shot this thing full auto lol. All shots landed here.

.308 rifle question

is it more practical to own a bolt action .308 or an AR10? I've got an AR15 and a shotgun and debating on what kind of high powered caliber I want next, was even considering a high powered lever action.

.308 SBR

What are some pros and cons to an SBR chambered in .308? Was thinking about building an AR10 but it won't be used for hunting, mainly as a more stout general purpose rifle, just thought I'd fish for some opinions.

First and only kitted out AR-15

Went full "buy once, cry once" on my first and only AR-15. I want to build an SBR next, preferably an MK18 suppressed.

supplement help

I'm a 27m who lives a relatively healthy lifestyle, no drinking, no smoking, I hit the gym atleast 4-5 days a week and try to do cardio on the stairs every other day. I recently switched from a physical job to a sit down all day job and have read about all the short and long term health problems related to sitting all day and want to introduce supplements that help keep my body running and stay healthy, I want to know the best supplements you can take for general health that keeps me as healthy as can be while working a sit down job, also need some supplements for brain fog as I rely heavily on caffeine to keep my head clear, thanks!

COG replacement

How difficult is it to uninstall and reinstall the COG? I just got the FC grip module I want to put it in but wanted to know if it was worth doing myself or getting a gunsmith to do it.

as title says, already have a 6x magnifier that I love and was thinking of getting a 3x for something more practical and quick, before I spend $500 for a magnifier I wanted to make sure it was definitely 100% worth it since I don't really want to buy anymore magnifiers after I get this one.
