I’ve got this AR10 that I’m letting go. I’m much more of a bolt action type guy. But I don’t remember how much I paid, or caught up on recent Aero news. I’m wondering if there’s any enthusiast out there than can tell me what model/style I’ve got, and how much you think a fair price is in the south? Will be keeping scope.

Thinking of picking up the larue stealth barrel in 308 for a Centurion large frame build. Any experience with this barrel ?
Putting together a gas gun and I can’t decide on a grip. A lot of people like the K2+ but I’m afraid that the grip will be too beercan-esc. I like the idea of a DAC VGC or VGC-L but I haven’t held one.

So I have a Daniel Defense .308 lower. I can’t find a good stripped upper. I want to do LMT so I can build a MK11 mod 0 clone dupe but from what some people have told me only DD fits nicely on DD. Is that true? What are my options for stripped uppers? I don’t really want to buy a complete upper

This rifle has progressively gotten longer and longer, which is typically the opposite of what happens to my rifles. I love the csass/mrgg-a concept and I’ll probably pin together another one, but for now I’m leaning more heavily into a purpose-built DMR/SASS. Also made the leap to Creedmoor to squeeze better ballistics out of this 18” barrel. Got a bit tired of seeing my 308 get blown around past 750 and frankly, shooting 150 rounds of full power starts to wear on shoulder.
Just one trip with the new barrel so still need to work out a good dope but AB spat out decent solutions for 400, 600, and 750 with Berger 130gr OTMs.
Centurion receivers, Criterion 18” barrel (rifle gas), CAT DD suppressor, Sabre carrier/JP HP bolt, ATACR 4-16 + 509T, G SSA-E trigger. Random bits and bobs otherwise.
I picked up an Anderson AM-10/AR-308 handguard dirt cheap, but since Anderson is defunct I’m having trouble finding the barrel nut wrench. Does anyone know what generic wrench or alternative tool fits the Anderson barrel nut?

So, going full adjustable gas, and thinking about running a lightweight carrier and a JP SCS. Been a winning combo for me on my AR-15s so far.
Was wondering if anyone had a preference for either a JP LMOS or V Seven's Ti BCG? I'd probably use the JP High Pressure bolt in both, but I'm just wondering if the titanium carrier is worth the premium over the LMOS.
Currently wanting to switch from .308 to 6.5cm to increase my accuracy and range. I’m looking at the faxon 24in match fluted 6.5 barrel. Now my question is if I buy the barrel from them and a matched head spaced bolt would it work fine if I just swapped that bolt into my aero bcg? That seems like the best cost effective to way to switch to 6.5? Let me know what you guys think or if any of you have more experience with this. Thank you 🙏
I have a smith & Wesson M&P 10 that I just inherited. I am working to educate myself on this platform. As part of the inheritance I received a bunch of PMag 20 plastic magazines. Regardless of which of them I use my rifle is jamming on about every 3rd round. One of the bullets jammed so bad the bullet end tilted at a 15% angle.
Is my problem likely to be the magazines or the gun itself? If its an easy fix like buying a different magazine id prefer to do that than to take it to a gunsmith.

First time here, pretty new to AR10s, in need of some community advice on the topic of buffer systems.
I think this would work? Feels weird, but "A5 enables use of AR15 carbine buffers" is what people seem to be saying. Totally willing to change things up if need be, I just don't want to build a jam-o-matic or damage anything.

Further edit: I decided to go with an A5 tube from VLTOR, then an LMT H3 and spring. Some items are already purchased. By no means will this be a quick build, think I'll be parting it together on disposable income for the rest of the year.
I'm willing to try a Super 42 + H4 combination suggested by u/Gunfighter_13 on a lark because that sounds nuts but I like to tinker. It'll be a ways off but I'll try to update this post for anyone that's curious or finds this with the same questions I did.
Anyone ever have a firing pin that punched through a primer with a factory dpms bcg? My buddy today had his stove pipe several times and had the firing pin fall out of it during use. After putting a new retention pin back in was just fine but kept punching through primers. Never seen that before so was curious if anyone else had this issue.
