Has anyone with RA dealt with chronically elevated white blood cells?
My WBC has been running high for about 8–9 years (usually between 14–19.8). It’s been as high as 19.8, and my latest was 19. My hematologist isn’t concerned, but my primary doctor recently called me about it and now I’m stressed.
I also have HS, and I’m currently in an RA flare. Does anyone else with RA run high white counts long-term? Did your rheumatologist or hematologist eventually stop worrying about it?
Any input would be appreciated.

my experience

hi 33f had colonoscopy and endoscopy.
i want to tell how things went for me because going in for the first time procedure that requires sedation was super scary. and I was on Reddit searching for stories so I want to share mine to maybe help.
So I took four Dulcolax pills at 1 PM then by 4 PM I had to drink MiraLAX and then at 9 PM I drink MiraLAX again, I personally believe that me being on MiraLAX leading up to my prep and using the bathroom twice before I even started it helped me a lot because by 10 PM. I was completely yellow by the morning. I was clear so no worries with that, I will say ask for nausea medicine that is one of the worst mistakes that I made. I was so scared that the prep wouldn’t work because I did wind up throwing up the first round of MiraLAX so definitely ask for nausea pills. I had to be there at 10:30 in the morning. by 11 I was in the room waiting. One thing I did not like is I have rheumatoid arthritis and I have 2 synovial filled lumps on my wrist the nurse, even though she’s seen it still proceeded to put the IV into the spot which hurt like hell but needless to say all in all 😖. but moving on. They all come in and talk to me about 130. I was being wheeled in my heart rate spiked. They talk to me reassured me. I calm down they had me turnover put the mouth guard in my mouth, then an oxygen mask. Next thing I know I felt my whole body get a little warm I was looking around. I was out woke up as they were willing me out of the room completely to myself ask for something to drink Doctor talk to me. Took 10 minutes. take me back to my room. I got up on my own 2 feet got dressed was a little dizzy did feel a little uncomfortable in my bottom. all in all not a bad experience I did experience light bleeding for two days was super worried about that, but turns out it happens, so if you are super worried, don’t be they do hundreds and hundreds of these a day you’re safe. The sedation part was the most scariest thing for me, and it turned out that that was the easiest if you have any questions, please reach out

ok so i did my colonoscopy and endoscopy, Monday, i got my results yesterday on my chart. it said a evolving gluten sensitivity so does this mean it’s possibly celiac and if not, will I have to go for another endoscopy? any information or someone who has had the same results. also chronic gastritis.
