I finished my first sprite sheet!

I finished my first sprite sheet!

I had previously come here to ask for advice on making sprites, and I just wanted to say thank you because it was super helpful.

Once I had gotten the 3 1/2 main poses done, it only took about ten hours to make the rest of the modified sprites. it wasn't as bad as I was expecting, and it was actually really good gesture practice.

I know these sprites are really amateurish, but I'm happy with the end result. Lyra doesn't have the most elaborate design, so I expect she is going to have been the easiest to make. Now I just need to prepare myself to do it 15 more times lol

Once again, thank you!

Making Sprites, any advice?

Basically the title, I've made attempts in the past, but I never get too far. I'm ready to give it another go, but don't really know the best way to start. Like how many sprites should each character have so they don't feel repetitive? Should I avoid similar poses between characters, even if they're fairly generic? I've already decided to forgo a traditional Danganronpa style, because I'm god awful at anime styles, but other than that any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This is Lyra Kairis btw, the Ultimate Sculptor. If you're curious about anything regarding her, I love to talk about my cast.
