Guys i need help🙂

Hi

I built an app with replit. Now i wish to move to the railway because some of my developer friends suggested moving to the AWS or railway because the split cost will high when the scale more. Correct ✅ or wrong ❌?

Suggestion please 🙂

And, how to move to the railway via githib? Should i give some comments to replit to adjust the code for deployment of another platform

Or can i add move to github direct?

Regarding Replit hosting

Paid for replit core package 1 year.

But, some of the developer friends suggested me... When your web / app user increase, cost will also increase drastically. So, move to railway.com or vercel

Is that true? I am expecting monthly 5000 signup (including existing users) per month.

When i asked the replit team

They mailed me like this

The billing model for your hosted app depends on which deployment type you choose. Here's how each works:

Autoscale (most common for dynamic apps with authentication)

Both questions answered with this type: yes, user sign-ups, sign-ins, and general browsing all consume credits because they trigger HTTP requests to your server, which uses CPU and RAM while processing them. It is NOT flat-rate — you're billed based on actual compute:

$1.00/month base fee

$3.20 per million compute units (1 CPU-second = 18 units, 1 GB RAM-second = 2 units)

$1.20 per million requests

The app scales to zero after 15 minutes of inactivity, so there are no charges during idle periods. For most low-to-moderate traffic apps, costs stay well within the $20/month credits included with Core.

Reserved VM

A flat monthly rate regardless of traffic (starting at $20/month for a shared VM). Better if you want completely predictable billing.

One thing worth knowing: the $20/month Core subscription fee is separate from the $20/month in usage credits. The credits offset deployment, compute, and storage costs — they can't pay for the subscription itself. After credits are exhausted, additional usage is billed to your payment method.

What does it mean? Can @replit support or members guide me?
