Being called a sexist when I’m pointing at that mansplaining is an inherently sexist term
Before you say that “mansplaining” is a perfectly valid and legitimate un-sexist term. I will say that it is needlessly gendered, does more harm than good and 99% of the time is used incorrectly.
It’s unnecessarily gendered and we already have perfect gender-neutral words that have been used for centuries:
Patronizing
Condescending
I would never in my life try and find the female equivalent of mansplaining. You know why? Because I’m not a hypocritical asshole that would use gendered language designed to put down an entire group of people.
