Regarding emphasis on SAT score or priority window application

I took the SAT last year in the spring and was unsatisfied with my score of 1360. I set a date to retake the SAT to get (hopefully) up to a 1460. The day I am retaking the SAT is August 22nd, and the scores for that likely won't be back until around September 4th. The early admission priority window opens on August 26th. Do I prioritize turning my application in immediately as soon as that window opens, or should I wait a while and see what my SAT result will be when it gets back? I've heard a great deal about the importance of hitting that early application window, but I was wondering if turning it in as soon as that window opens really is more beneficial than waiting a while into the window to (hopefully) secure a higher SAT score.
