Kenshi Multiplayer – New version preview!
Hi everyone! For the past months we've been building Kenshi Multiplayer, a free fan-made mod that lets several players share one Kenshi world on a dedicated server.
What it is
- A real dedicated server. The server runs the actual Kenshi simulation (a headless copy of the game), so every player sees the same world, the same NPCs and the same fights.
- Your character lives on the server. Log in with a name and password; wounds, bandages, hunger, skills and gear stay exactly as you left them, even after a server restart.
- Standalone. Kenshi from Steam or GOG plus this mod – nothing else needed.
What you can play right now: the arena test server
The public server is a co-op siege at Okran's Shield. Waves of enemies march in from the desert, each harder than the last, and players hold the walls together: melee, crossbow turrets, first aid, carrying wounded friends to bed. It's our test bench for combat and syncing, so please treat it as early access: expect bugs, rough edges and the occasional reset.
What's next
The goal is the whole open world, up to 100 players on one server. It's in development and being tested separately.
