I’m building a startup and part of it requires me to run untrusted user code (gvisor). I’m currently using digitalocean for running and building docker images but it’s pretty expensive (luckily I have credits). I don’t use any of digitaloceans native features.

Anyone have any good suggestions? I don’t need latency to be that low (max 400-500ms) so even if locations provided aren’t as many as DO it’s alright.

I’ve been working on a marketplace for hiring devs to build bots (Telegram, Discord, etc) and automation scripts. Right now it’s just a waitlist at https://velcio.dev, but launch is coming soon.

Tech-wise it’s FastAPI + Next.js with Postgres, running on Heroku dynos and DigitalOcean droplets. The tricky part was making handover feel like an actual workflow instead of “here’s a repo, good luck”. We use gVisor for the container runtime so each project runs in a sandboxed environment, with secrets injected directly from the platform. That way devs never touch production env vars or credentials.

Pricing is a flat 10% commission (Upwork goes up to 15%, Fiverr is 20% + up to 5.5% service fees).

Most productivity apps help you manage tasks. This one helps you actually start them. You can paste in either a messy brain dump or a single task, and it breaks it down into tiny actionable steps so the first move feels doable instead of overwhelming.

I’m looking for blunt feedback on onboarding, usefulness, and what feels pointless.

If you don’t suffer from waiting mode in general, this app probably won’t be useful to you but I’ll still be grateful for any feedback even if it’s general UI stuff and not related to the features
