Building a Keyboard - Need Advise/Recommendations

Hello everyone. I would say that I’m still new to this as I’ve only bought like 3 pre-built mechanical keyboards in the past.

I’m planning to start a project of building a keyboard next year (still saving up funds so I can have more budget for everything). Can reach around 6-8k budget I guess. It will be used for casual typing/work and gaming.

For this project, some specifications I’m looking for are the ff:
- 75% or TKL (80%) layout, Barebone or not, I can replace parts anyway
- Aluminum board
- With or w/o a volume knob
- A wired connection is enough for me
- I’m aiming for a thocccccy build, creamy can do as well
- Recommend switches (I’ve been eyeing Akko Rosewood, but still doing research) and keycaps (don’t like XDA/DSA and similar profiles)
- For the Keycaps color, let’s stick to neutral colors (white/gray) or earthy ones (like light green, rustic colors)

I’ll be modding the keyboard as well such as lubing each switch and more.

What else would you recommend? Am I missing something? If you have links and shops that you recommend, I’d appreciate that as well.

Thank you everyone who’ll respond and help me build my project.
