Dreamscapes I: seeing the matrix unfold
This is a painting I did, where I looked up and this is what I saw.
I was taking an after coffee nap, when I felt someone kissing me. It was probably the best kiss I’ve ever had. Then I was taken by the hand and flown up to a great height. I still had my eyes closed at this point and I didn’t want to open them, in case I’d quit dreaming. Then whatever was flying me upward let go. And I started to fall. As I fell I heard whatever had pulled me up laugh at my plummet.
I wasn’t panicking, I just rolled over on my back and opened my eyes.
This painting represents what I saw. I saw this beautiful sky… probably more beautiful than I can paint it but what struck me as odd were the scrolling numbers. Just like in the matrix.
Then with a great slam I hit the bed. And as I was just piecing myself back together, I felt the force try and pick me up again. This is when I began to panic as my sight was very blurry from the fall still.
