2018 3.0T low coolant
Have a brand new to me 2018 Q7 with the supercharged 3.0T engine. Only 40K miles and in mint condition. Serviced at Audi with oil changes every 3-6K miles. Audi sent me all the service history.
Purchased from a reputable NY Lexus dealership last week it came in on a trade in.
When I got home noticed the coolant level is well below minimum about 1.5 inches. Kicking myself for not checking before I left however I do have a 30 day warranty from the dealer. My first instinct is water pump. Should I pressure the dealership to pay for a complete check of the cooling system and any repairs or is a level this low not a big deal and to fill it back and see what happens. I knew going into this that I would likely need to change out the water pump, thermostat and PCV valve at some point, but not this early! less
